Shipwreck Ice Cream in Sandwich

Awesome! Rick finally had some frozen pudding and I had ginger. Refreshing after walking 4 miles on the Canal Bike Path!

I had Black Raspberry Chip. It was amazing. Tons of chocolate chips. My mate had coffe and gave it 4 stars.

Good little ice cream stand down the road from the Cape Cod canal and marina. My husband likes the butter crunch ice cream and his second pick is banana. The chocolate is good as well. They have good service and some cute fuzzy rabbits you can visit on the property.

Yummy ice cream, friendly service, lots of fun places to sit & eat on a large front yard. Pair with a beautiful afternoon - perfect!

The staff are extremely friendly and I do like this place. But when my family came back to my house though, I noticed that I got a cookie dough ice cream with sprinkles when I told my mother to order a chocolate and vanilla twist ice cream with gummy worms for me. So therefore, that was the only issue I had tonight.

The kiddie sizes are big enough to where small kids won't be able to finish them. Plenty of space to enjoy your ice cream on wooden tables or lounge chairs. There's also a small koi pond with turtles and a bunny cage to keep kids entertained.

Stopped and got a waffle cone today and a small treat for my furry friend zephyr, who loved the ice cream and the special treat on top.... a dog bone ... nice job and he loved it. I’ll add, that mine was pretty tasty too.

Great frappes, thick and creamy.

Bit of a line but with good reason, ice cream was fantastic. Great space for kids and adults alike. Many flavors to choose from and easily accommodated our party of 12 even with a crowd. Pets on leash allowed. Fish pond and rabbit cage to keep children entertained!

Tasty ice cream with plenty of space, tables, and chairs outside to enjoy it. There are plenty of choices for flavors, toppings, and options. I had moose tracks on a waffle cone with sprinkles. The waffle cone was fresh and crunchy. We visited on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon and there was only one server working. The line quickly got 10 people deep and everyone was wondering why there want more staff. The girl behind the counter did her best to serve us all as quickly as she could but kids have a hard time waiting. I'd go again if in the area.

Best ice cream in Sandwich. Great homemade flavors. Try the coffee Heath bar, grapenut or cherry vanilla... And there's always their decadent chocolate.

Everyone was patient, long lines, not angry elves that periodically show up at other ice cream venues...Excellent ,courteous, staff, great prices & awesome ice cream.!!

Portions were pretty decent but my coffee heath bar flavor was sufficiently lacking. Nice sets of picnic tables under trees blowing in the breeze.

Excellent service and huge variety of flavors! I got the salted caramel pretzel with the shipwreck almond! I loved them both :) Happy we found this spot while driving around!

Great little ice cream stop, there's ample parking and the prices are decent. We had the milky way which was delicious, just wish it had a few more chunks/fillings as it was mostly just chocolate ice cream. Would definitely come back!

My favorite place for ice cream. Love to bring the little ones. They can eat their ice cream while they watch the mini zoo of turtles and bunnies. The ice cream is top notch and prices are good.

I love The Shipwreck icecream! The best Sunday and they make all their waffle cones! Plus they have the great hours!! Thank you for being open late so early in the season!!!

Great selection of good quality ice cream. Try a caramel sundae on vanilla (my wife gets caramel on coffee ice cream). Delish!

I wish I had a close up picture of the menu. There were an amazing number of flavors, and everyone enjoyed his or her choice.

Shipwreck is our favorite. Personally I like their ice cream flavors (and quality) as well as the creative sundaes. The kids like the rabbits, turtles, fish, and tortoises....and the ice cream. The parking lot now has some tasty food trucks present including Cape Cod donuts (which I have not yet tried but hear they are fabulous). If I get to choose where, of the 7 ice cream shops in the area, we eat ice cream...I always choose Shipwreck! If you're headed to the Sandwich Marina, Town Neck Beach, the Boardwalk, or are seeking desert after a local meal the kids will thank you for checking out Shipwreck!

If your looking for good ice cream this is a must stop and try. Clientele very friendly.

The kids that work here are great, the atmosphere is adorable a turtle pond and bunnies. Kid friendly! If ordering waffle cones get a spoon lots of ice cream in these.
